ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Section 9-100-120 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underscored:

9-100-120 Immobilization Program.

*** (Omitted language is not affected by this ordinance)

(\) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Section, any vehicle parked in the public way: (\) without state registration plates; and (ii) with a "For Sale" sign, may be immediately immobilized. Any such immobilization will be governed by this Section, except for paragraph (b).

SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective on passage and publication.
