ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Section 4-60-150 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underscored, as follows:
4-60-150 Individual serving amounts.
It shall be unlawful for any licensee, other than a hotel offering restaurant service or a regularly organized olubĀ± or a restaurant within the meaning of the term as defined in an act entitled "An Act relating to alcoholic liquors", approved January 31, 1934, as amended, to sell, give away or permit to be sold, served or given away for consumption on the licensed premises any distilled spirits, except by the glass, or any malt or vinous beverage except in individual servings not exceeding 13 fluid ounces. Provided, however, that this prohibition shall not apply to any hotel offering restaurant service or regularly organized club or restaurant (other than a restaurant amusement venue). For purposes of this subsection (a), the terms "hotel", "club" and "restaurant" shall have the meaning ascribed to those terms in the Liguor Control Act of 1934, codified at 235 ILCS 5/1-1 et seg. The term "restaurant amusement venue" shall have the meaning ascribed to that term in Section 4-156-010.
Nothing in subsection (a) herein shall be construed to prohibit a licensee from selling pitchers, carafes or bottles of alcoholic liquor which are customarily sold in such manner and delivered to two or more persons at one time: provided, however, that the sale of bottles of spirits, as defined in the Local Liguor Control Act of 1934, shall be prohibited in restaurant amusement venues as defined in Section 4-156-010.


SECTION 2. Section 4-156-010 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting, in correct alphabetical order, the language underscored, as follows:
