BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
The ordinance for PARADISE CANTINA is here by Amended by deleting the words "sidewalk cafe area #1 shall be twenty-four point five (24.5) feet in length and eleven (11) feet in width for a total of two hundred sixty-nine point five (269.5) square feet. Seating Capacity: 21" and inserting in their place the words "sidewalk cafe area #1 shall be twenty-five (25) feet in length and sixteen point thirty-three (16.33) feet in width for a total of four hundred eight point twenty-five (408.25) square feet. Seating Capacity: 48"

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a sidewalk cafe(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection -Business Assistance Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
