WHEREAS, Each year, the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce hosts a gala Awards Luncheon honoring the Chamber's most outstanding businesses in four categories: Retailer of the Year, Hospitality Business of the Year, Personal or Professional Service Provider of the Year and an Excellence in Arts & Culture Award; and
WHEREAS, The 2013 Personal or Professional Service Provider of the Year Award goes to Linda Maman of ADP Payroll Services who runs this noteworthy franchise that streamlines the payroll process, improves productivity and simplifies administration for local businesses around the Lincoln Park community; and
WHEREAS, In addition to being active with the myriad of LPCC networking events, Linda Maman has played a vital role in expanding the Chamber and welcoming new businesses to Lincoln Park as a member of its Ambassador Committee. She regularly provides new member leads to LPCC staff and helps connect staff to local business owners. Her willingness and ability to sell raffle tickets at the LPCC's annual Holiday Party has reached legendary proportions that, in turn, help support the activities in which the LPCC engages; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable Michele Smith, Alderman of the 43rd Ward, has apprised this august body of the noteworthy honor bestowed upon this outstanding Lincoln Park neighborhood payroll service provider; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council gathered together this 10th Day of April, 2013 AD, do hereby salute Linda Maman of ADP Payroll Services on the occasion of her prestigious award and extend our very best wishes for continuing success for many more decades to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Linda Maman of ADP Payroll Services.
