BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

 

Section 1:

 

 

The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for YOSHI'S CAFE on 04/19/2017. and printed upon page 48094 ofthe Journal of Proceedings ofthe City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words "area #1 shall be sixty (60) feet in length and twelve point eight three (12.83) feet in width; total of seven hundred sixty nine point eight (769.8) square feet; seating capacity 56; Compensation $1,154.70" and inserting in their place the words "area #1 shall be eighty-five (85) feet in length and fourteen point three (14.3) feet in width and area #2 shall be twenty-three point seven five (23.75) feet in length and four point five (4.5) feet in width along N Halsted St; total of one thousand three hundred twenty-two point three eight (1,322.38) square feet; seating capacity: 72; Compensation: $,1983.56"

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

Re: An amended ordinance to use and maintain a portion ofthe public right-of-way for two (2) sidewalk cafe(s) for YOSHI'S CAFE, adjacent to the premises known as 3257 N. Halsted St

 

Dear Alderman Thomas Tunney:

 

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a sidewalk cafe(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
