Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to HARD ROCK HOTEL upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance, to maintain and use a portion of the public right of way for a sidewalk cafe adjacent to its premises located at 224-230 N. Michigan Ave Said sidewalk cafe area #1 shall be fifty (50) feet in length and six point three three (6.33) feet in width for a total of three hundred sixteen point five (316.5) square feet and shall allow six (6) feet of clear space from the face of the curb/building line along Wacker Place. The compensation for said space and the days and hours of operation for the sidewalk cafe shall be as follows:
Monday through Sunday 11:00 through 12:00 midnight Compensation: $1,424.25 SEATING CAPACITY: 24
Sidewalk Cafe Permit and approved plan must be posted at all times.
This grant of privilege #1132989 for a sidewalk cafe shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-800 though 10-28-885 of the Municipal Code of Chicago and the directions of the Commissioner of Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, the Commissioner of Streets and Sanitation, and the Commissioner of Transportation.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
Authority for the above named privilege is herein given and granted from and after March 1, 2018 through and including December 1, 2018.
ORDINANCE Top Cabinetry Acct. No. 425342 - 1 Permit No. 1132105
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to Top Cabinetry, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use one (1) Awning(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 2714 N. Laramie Ave
Said Awning(s) at N Laramie Ave measure(s):
One (1) at nine (9) feet in length, and two (2) feet in width for a total of eighteen (18) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Zoning Department -Signs.
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1132105 herein granted the sum of fifty ($50.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
Authority herein given and granted for a period of five (5) years from and after Date of Passage.
