Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, seven (7) Planter(s) on the public right-of-way for beautification purposes adjacent to its premises known as 259 E. Erie St
Said Planter(s) at 241 E. Erie measure(s):
One (1) at twelve point nine two (12.92) feet in length, and six point five (6.5) feet in width for a total of eighty-three point nine eight (83.98) square feet.
Said Planter(s) at 245-249 E. Erie measure(s):
One (1) at thirty-five point five eight (35.58) feet in length, and six point one six (6.16) feet in width for a total of two hundred nineteen point one seven (219.17) square feet.
Said Planter(s) at 251-255 E. Erie measure(s):
One (1) at twenty-two point nine two (22.92) feet in length, and five point six six (5.66) feet in width for a total of one hundred twenty-nine point seven three (129.73) square feet.
Said Planter(s) at 642-644 N. Fairbanks Ct measure(s):
One (1) at thirty-five (35) feet in length, and seven point six six (7.66) feet in width for a total of two hundred sixty-eight point one (268.1) square feet.
Said Planter(s) at 636-638 N. Fairbanks Ct measure(s):
One (1) at thirty-five (35) feet in length, and seven point six six (7.66) feet in width for a total of two hundred sixty-eight point one (268.1) square feet.
Said Planter(s) at 632-634 N. fairbanks Ct measure(s):
One (1) at thirty-four point seven five (34.75) feet in length, and seven point six six (7.66) feet in width for a total of two hundred sixty-six point one nine (266.19) square feet.
Said Planter(s) at 240 E. Ontario measure(s):
One (1) at thirteen point three three (13.33) feet in length, and eight (8) feet in width for a total of one hundred six point six four (106.64) square feet.
Grantee must allow the required clear and unobstructed space for pedestrian passage at all times per rules and regulations approved by the Department of Transportation.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1128010 herein granted the sum of zero ($.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
