BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
Section 1:
The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for THE CONTINENTAL LOUNGE on 02/05/2014, and printed upon page 74347 ofthe Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words
"two (2) wind Screen(s)
Said Wind Screen(s) at N. California Ave measure(s):
One (1) at ten (10) feet in length, and four (4) feet in width for a total of forty
(40) square feet.
The sum of eight hundred ($800.00) per annum in advance"
and inserting in their place the words
"One (1) wind Screen
The sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance."
Section 2:
This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a wind screen(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
