BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2-08-040 of the municipal code of Chicago, which allows erection of honorary street name designations, the Commissioner of Transportation shall take necessary action for standardization of North Clark Street, between West Berwyn Avenue and West Catalpa Avenue as "Honorary Calo Ristotante Way".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication.

This local favorite has been a main contributor to the success of the Andersonville Commercial district for over Yi a century and has always been a welcoming establishment to all.
They have hosted many family celebrations and have always been great supporters of the surrounding community and block club.

Proclamation: Calo Ristorante
WHEREAS, The members of the City Council of Chicago wish to recognize the 60th anniversary of the opening of Calo Ristorante; and
WHEREAS, Calo Ristorante is celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2023; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been notified of this celebration by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Calo Ristorante has been a staple of the Andersonville culinary scene since It opened its doors in 1963; and
WHEREAS, the family-owned and operated business offers an array of Italian and American dishes, including their iconic pizza and BBQ ribs; and
WHEREAS, the atmosphere and cuisine of Calo Ristorante have solidified it as a neighborhood favorite; and.
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this day of March 15th, 2023, do hereby extend our congratulations on the continued success and the anniversary of Calo Ristorante joining the Andersonville community; and
