Dear Alderman Reilly, j
This letter is written to support the application of the 1366 North Dearborn Condominium j Association to establish a standing zone on Schiller Street from Dearborn Street to the alley. I have attached a schematic which sets forth the area which we are requested receive such designation.
As we have discussed with your office, the property at 1366 North Dearborn is a 40 unit j building which does not have any parking. Given the population density in this area, 1 there is often no parking available in the area. Needless to say, this causes significant issues for vendors making deliveries, residents unloading parcels, groceries or children or \ contractors unloading their equipment. Having a standing zone on Schiller would greatly : assist with these issues. We note that a large portion of State Street one block to the east \ has this type of designation and it appears to work very well there. We also note that \ there is a large building to the north of Schiller in this area and the standing zone would greatly assist them as well. j
Thank you for giving this your attention. Please contact us if you require anything j further in support of this application. j
Sincerely,
■Howard Kruse Managing Agent
