SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to 1100-1114 W. RANDOLPH ASSOCIATES LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use eight (8) Canopy(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 1100 W. Randolph St
Said Canopy(s) at W. RANDOLPH ST measure(s):
One (1) at twenty-seven point three three (27.33) feet in length, and six (6) feet in width for a total of one hundred sixty-three point nine eight (163.98) square feet.
One (1) at twenty-seven point three three (27.33) feet in length, and five point eight four (5.84) feet in width for a total of one hundred fifty-nine point six one (159.61) square feet.
One (1) at twenty-seven point three three (27.33) feet in length, and five point seven six (5.76) feet in width fora total of one hundred fifty-seven point four two (157.42) square feet.
One (1) at twenty-seven point three three (27.33) feet in length, and five pointfive nine (5.59) feet in width fora total of one hundred fifty-two point seven seven (152.77) square feet.
One (1) at twenty-seven point three three (27:33) feet in length, and five point five one (5.51) feet in width for a total of one hundred fifty pointfive nine (150.59) square feet.
Said Canopy(s) at N. ABERDEEN ST measure(s):
One (1) at eighteen point six seven (18.67) feet in length, and five point eight five (5.85) feet in width for a total of one hundred nine point two two (109.22) square feet.
One (1) at eighteen point six seven (18.67) feet in length, and five point seven five (5.75) feet in width for a total of one hundred seven point three five (107.35) square'feet.
One (1) at eighteen point three three (18.33) feet in length, and five pointfive nine (5.59) feet in width for a total of one hundred two point four six (102.46) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Zoning Department -Signs.
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1146618 herein granted the sum of one hundred seventy-five ($175.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a canopy(ics). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
