CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF AN EXTRAORDINARY MAN

WHEREAS, on Thursday, May 2,2013, John Martin Vician answered his Heavenly Father's call, "Come for I have prepared a place specifically for thee, a mansion designed with diamond framed photographs of every person's fife he has touched" As the tears fell from the eyes of John Martin Vician he stretched forth his right hand to connect with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Angels in Heaven shouted, "Hallelujah John is finally coming home!" and
WHEREAS, the scriptures tell us that "the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord." Mr. John Martin Vician fitted the biblical description perfectly. His lifestyle exemplified one as having a relationship with God. Without disinclination, Mr. Vician liberally gave of himself so that others could benefit from the blessings of his labor. John, ''thank you for teaching all of us the true meaning of perseverance:" and
WHEREAS, at this moment, I speak with great confidence, when I say, "John Martin Vician was the quintessence of a man committed to living his life according to the principles of God." His temperament exemplified David, he spoke with authority like Paul and his faith was like Abraham. Truly he was more than just a "Hearer of the Word, he was also a follower of the Word; and
WHEREAS, we cried many nights and prayed often for the Lord to allow us another opportunity to spend with John Martin Vician, we know that one day soon, we shall meet him once again; and
WHEREAS, John Martin Vician's memories will be cherished by his loving fiancee and best friend Ms. Dianne Renee Smith; devoted sons: Martym Darrius, Darrian, and Chico; beautiful daughters: Donna, Raychel, MiYanna and Brandi: his mother Sandra Vician, two brothers, Peter Vician and Michael Vician, one sister Denise Vician, his extended family "Mom" Adrienne A. Smith, his other "Dad," Paul E. Smith Jr., his sister-in-law, Gia D. Smith, postal family and a host of other relatives and mends who loved him dearly; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago, will assemble together on the 26th Day of June, 2013, A.D., to express their heartfelt condolences in the loss of John Martin Vician and extend their prayers to his family, friends and associates; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Mr. John Martin Vician.
