MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR ALPHONSE COZZI JR.
WHEREAS, Alphonse Cozzi Jr. has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 65 on August 5, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Alphonse Cozzi Jr. born June 9,1947 to his beloved Parents Alphonse Cozzi Sr. and Pauline Cozzi along with his sister Barbara and brothers Michael, Richard, and Joseph; and
WHEREAS, Alphonse Cozzi Jr. was the loving husband of Michele; and
WHEREAS, Alphonse Cozzi Jr., was the much-adored father of his two sons Alphonse III, daughter in law Catarina, and Anthony to whom he imparted many of the fine and noble qualities that he possessed; and
WHEREAS, Alphonse Cozzi Jr., was the cherished grandfather of Juan, Michaela, Alphonse IV, Sophia and Anthony Jr; and
WHEREAS, Alphonse Cozzi Jr., a 34 year employee of the City of Chicago, Department of Streets and Sanitation; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and the members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this 18th Day of March in 2015, do hereby extend to his family and friends our grateful deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Alphonse Cozzi Jr.
