RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, December 18, 2015 marks the 150th Anniversary of the Ratifying of the 13th Amendment that abolished 246 years, from 1619 to 1865, of Chattel (moveable property) Slavery, except when duly convicted of a crime by a jury of your peers, was designated Divinity Day in Chicago on October 2, 1995, sponsored by Alderman Robert Shaw and drafted by EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN; and
WHEREAS, EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN is an activist, author, Certified Montessori Preschool Educator, International Award Winning Poet, Ordained Minister, Spiritual Spokesperson for YHWH Nation of Obedience SpiriLution Ministry chartered in 1990, Founding President of Global Committee Commemorating King Days charted in 1984, grew up in Englewood where her heart lives, is the Creator of Emmett Till Road (71st Street) and Helen Richard Drive (74th Street), her Freedom Fighting work started at the age of five, when she refused to give up her seat on the front of the bus in 1950, 5 years before Rosa Parks; and
WHEREAS, March 25, 2015 the United Nations unveiled a Memorial called the Ark of Return at their headquarters in Manhattan, New York on the annual International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade, called the "Greatest Holocaust in the History of Humankind," was voted a Crime Against Humanity on September 8, 2001, their theme this year is Women and Slavery which kicked off the Decade for People of African Descent and cited racism and the police killing of Black Men and Boys as a Human Rights Violation; and
WHEREAS, Mamadee's Love Approach to Learning Anti Violence Initiative includes the teaching of Civic History using 3 designated textbooks: the Bible, 12 Years a Slave by Solomon Northrup and the 1967 Kerner Report, commissioned by President Lyndon B. Johnson, called for a National Resolve to end institutionalized racism; and
WHEREAS, Mamadee's Love Approach to Learning Initiative adds the 3 visually affirmed Days of Respect Concept to the School Calendar to historically preserve the three key Principles of the American Civil Rights Renaissance of the 1960's, from the survivors of unjust laws of segregation standpoint, includes three significant events: the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation, the 1963 Cash the Check Emancipation Dream March on Washington and the November 4, 2008, Yes We Can; and

WHEREAS, the 3 Days of Respect Concept are visually affirmed by wearing White Colors on January 15th to practice the Principles of Human and Civil Rights, by wearing Black Colors on April 4th to practice the Principles of Non Violence and by wearing Black and White Colors on August 28th to practice the Principles of righteousness, justice, peace and peoplehood to cultivate values that are non partisan, non sectarian and non heroic, in the Spirit of WAO/way-o, WeAreOne in Humanity; and
WHEREAS, Mamadee's Love Approach to Learning views violence as a virus, that starts in the Heart, grows in the Head and if it is not stopped, will be acted out in the Hand, don't' catch it, don't spread it, her motto "love souls into shape, instead of just whipping them into shape and they will stay in shape;" and
WHEREAS, supporters are asking President Barack Obama for a December 18, 2015 Executive Order to annually honor the Memory of the Victims of Chattel Slavery and commemorate the anniversary ofthe ratification ofthe 13th Amendment, signed by President Abraham Lincoln on January 31, 1865 shortly before he was assassinated on April 14, 1865, because ignoring this painful past has not made it go away; and
WHEREAS, on Divinity Day - December 18, 2015 everyone, whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you are doing are invited to wear uniformity colors of red, black and green and Instagram Your 4 Minutes Stand of Respect at 12 o'clock for the Memory of the Victims of U.S.A. Chattel Slavery and resist the sin of racism for a more perfect you, just Stand Up against Hate for Humanity's Sake, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of Chicago, gathered here this 18th day of November, 2015 do hereby designate December 18, 2015 as Divinity Day in Chicago and urge all citizens to be cognizant of the instagram international activities and programs arranged for this time and congratulate EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN for 65 years as a Freedom Fighter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this Resolution be given to EvAngel Mamadeelove YHWHnewBN.
