Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to Dr. John A. Kotis and Christina Kotis, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, six (6) Masonry Wall(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 20 W. Burton PI
Said Masonry Wall(s) at W. Burton Place measure(s):
One (1) at seven (7) feet in length, and point four five (.45) feet in width for a total of three point one five (3.15) square feet.
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and point zero five (.05) feet in width for a total of point zero five (.05) square feet. One (1) at thirty (30) feet in length, and point four two (.42) feet in width for a total of twelve point six (12.6) square feet.
One (1) at twenty-five (25) feet in length, and point two four (.24) feet in width for a total of six (6) square feet. One (1) at twelve (12) feet in length, and point four two (.42) feet in width for a total of five point zero four (5.04) square feet.
One (1) at six (6) feet in length, and one point four two (1.42) foot in width for a total of eight point five two (8.52) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office ofthe City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1110476 herein granted the sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
