Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to THE MORGAN AT LOYOLA STATION, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain "and use, as now constructed, nineteen (19) Caisson(s) under the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 1210 W. Arthur Ave
Said Caisson(s) at W ARTHUR measure(s): ^
Three (3) atone (1) foot in length, and five point one (5.1) feet in width for a total of fifteen point three (15.3) square feet.
Two (2) atone (1) foot in length, and fourteen point eight (14.8) feet in width for a total of twenty-nine point six (29.6) square feet.
Two (2) at one (1) foot in length, and six point eight (6.8) feet in width for a total of thirteen point six (13.6) square feet.
Said Caisson(s) at N. Sheridan Rd measure(s):
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and seven point nine (7.9) feet in width for a total of seven point nine (7.9) square feet.
Said Caisson(s) at W. Loyola Avenue measure(s):
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and five point five (5.5) feet in width for a total of five point five (5.5) square feet.
Two (2) at one (1) foot in length, and four (4) feet in width for a total of eight (8) square feet.
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and eight point eight (8.8) feet in width for a total of eight point eight (8.8) square
feet.
Said Caisson(s) at Public Alley measure(s):
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and six point nine (6.9) feet in width for a total of six point nine (6.9) square feet. Four (4) at one (1) foot in length, and twenty-one point five (21.5) feet in width for a total of eighty-six (86) square feet.
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and eight point three (8.3) feet in width for a total of eight point three (8.3) square feet
Said Caisson(s) at Public Alley measure(s).
One (1) at one (1) foot in length, and one point six (1.6) foot in width for a total of one point six (1.6) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1132854 herein granted the sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a caisson(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center-Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
