BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

 

Section 1:

 

 

The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for LOGAN'S BAR AND GRILL on 03/29/2017, and printed upon page 45233 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words "Said sidewalk cafe area #1 shall be eighteen (18) feet in length and five point five (5.5) feet in width, area #2 shall be twenty (20) feet in length and five point five (5.5) feet in width for a total of two hundred nine (209) square feet and shall allow six (6) feet of clear space from the face of the curb/building line along N. California Ave"

 

and inserting in their place the words

 

"Said sidewalk cafe area #1 shall be thirty-four point five eight (34.58) feet in length and six (6) feet in width for a total of two hundred seven point four eight (207.48) square feet and shall allow six (6) feet of clear space from the face of the curb/building line along N. California Ave"

 

 

Section 2:

 

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a sidewalk cafe(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
