In Memorial ofthe Late Antuain Hatter

WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members ofthis Chamber learned of God, in His Infinite Wisdom having brought to close the life of Antuajn Hatter, calling him home to his eternal reward on November 27, 2018; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his death by the Honorable Walter Burnett, Jr., Alderman ofthe 27* Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Antuajn was born a twin son to parents Angelo Hatter, Sr. and Latrice Burnett, in Chicago, Illinois, on April 18, 1999. He was also the nephew of the Honorable Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr.; and

 

WHEREAS, Antuajn was a graduate of William H. Brown Elementary School and CICS-Chicago Quest High School. He enjoyed the study of computer information technology, gaming and other "geeky" stuff, playing basketball, traveling, and over the years, participated in various youth enrichment programs across the City; and

 

WHEREAS, Antuajn, being a member of a family known for their civic service and giving back to the community, loved volunteering. In his short nineteen years, he will be remembered for always being willing to lend a helping hand, a hug, a warm smile, a friendly conversation or a funny joke; and

 

WHEREAS, Antuajn now leaves to cherish fond memories of his life: mother, Latrice; twin brother, Angelo; sisters, Carrodine, Jennifer, and Ashley; brothers, Devon, Floyd, and Carlos; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. His absence from this earth will leave a sorrowful void in the lives of all who knew him; now, therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor, and the members of the Chicago City Council assembled here this Twelfth Day ofDecember, 2018, do hereby express our sincerest condolences to the family of Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr., the friends, and countless others mourning for Antuajn Hatter. May you all be at Peace in the everlasting love of the Lord; and »
