Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to 1650-1654 W. DIVISION, LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use twenty-three (23) Caisson(s) under the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 1664 W. Division St
Said Caisson(s) at W. Division Street shall be approximately forty-three (43) feet below grade level and measure(s):
One (1) at three point zero two (3.02) feet in length, and two point four two (2.42) feet in width for a total of seven point three one (7.31) square feet.
One (1) at three point seven five (3.75) feet in length, and two point four two (2.42) feet in width for a total of nine point zero eight (9.08) square feet.
One (1) at three point zero eight (3.08) feet in length, and two point four two (2.42) feet in width for a total of seven point four five (7.45) square feet.
One (1) at five (5) feet in length, and one point three three (1.33) foot in width for a total of six point six five (6.65) square feet.
Two (2) at four point four two (4.42) feet in length, and one point zero eight (1.08) foot in width for a total of nine point five five (9.55) square feet.
One (1) at three point seven five (3.75) feet in length, and point eight three (.83) feet in width for a total of three point one one (3.11) square feet.
One (1) at four point four two (4.42) feet in length, and one point zero eight (1.08) foot in width for a total of four point seven seven (4.77) square feet.
One (1) at one point zero eight (1.08) foot in length, and point zero eight (.08) feet in width for a total of point zero nine (.09) square feet.
One (1) at three (3) feet in length, and point five (.5) feet in width for a total of one point five (1.5) square feet, three (3) at three (3) feet in length, and point five (.5) feet in width for a total of four point five (4.5) square feet. One (1) at two point seven five (2.75) feet in length, and point two five (.25) feet in width for a total of point six nine (.69) square feet.
One (1) at three point one seven (3.17) feet in length, and point seven five (.75) feet in width for a total of two point three eight (2.38) square feet.
One (1) at three point seven five (3.75) feet in length, and one (1) foot in width for a total of three point seven five (3.75) square feet.
One (1) at three point one seven (3.17) feet in length, and point seven five (.75) feet in width for a total of two point three eight (2.38) square feet.
One (1) at four point five (4.5) feet in length, and one point one six (1.16) foot in width for a total of five point two two (5.22) square feet.

One (1) at three point one six (3.16) feet in length, and point seven five (.75) feet in width for a total of two point three seven (2.37) square feet.

One (1) at four point three three (4.33) feet in length, and one point two five (1.25) foot in width for a total of five point four one (5.41) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said .privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of

Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1119685 herein granted the sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
Authority herein given and granted for a period of five (5) years from and after Date of Passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for caisson(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center -Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council.
