Be It Ordained by the City Council ofthe City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to PRIME GROUP REALTY, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use as now constructed an existing overhang cantilever projection and glass/steel canopy adjacent to its premises known as 131 S. Dearborn St Said cantilever projection and glass/steel canopy shall be described as follows:
ADAMS STREET
A radius cantilever ofthe building's curtain wall extending over the public way occurring between levels three (3) and eleven (11). Cantilever shall be in two (2) sections along West Adams Street measuring as follows: Section 1: one hundred fifteen (15) feet in length and three (3) feet, six (6) inches in width for a total of two hundred ninety-eight (298) square feet. Section 2: eighty-five (85) feet in length and three (3) feet, six (6) inches in width for a total of two hundred seventeen (217) square feet.
MARBLE STREET
A radius cantilever of the building's curtain wall extending over the public way occurring between levels three (3) and eleven (11). Cantilever shall be in two (2) sections as follows: Section 1: eighty-six (86) feet, four (4) inches in length and one (1) foot, seven (7) inches in width for a total of ninety (90) square feet. Section 2: sixty-six (66) feet in length and one (1) foot, nine (9) inches in width for a total of seventy-five (75) square feet.
DEARBORN STREET
A radius cantilever of the building's curtain wall extending over the public way as follows: ninety-nine (99) feet, six (6) inches in length and one (1) foot, eight and one-half (8 1/2) inches in width for a total of one hundred thirteen (113) square feet. Cantilever occurs between levels three (3) and thirty-seven (37).
STATE STREET
Overhang cantilever of an entry glass and steel canopy measuring ninety-seven (97) feet, five (5) inches in length and four (4) feet, four (4) inches in width for a total of four hundred twenty-two (422) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1095142 herein granted the sum of four thousand eighty-one ($4,081.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
