CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF A REMARKABLE WOMAN OF FAITH DOROTHY (SIDNEY) GENOUS PRICE
WHEREAS, on Thursday, May 20,2021, Mother Evangelist Dorothy Price was called home by the Great I AM, "Come for I have prepared a place specifically for thee, a mansion the size of two small cities elegantly shelved with photographs of every person's life that you have touched. As you walk into the threshold of your new home, there you will find spotless floors lined with flawless diamonds, precious rubies and the most exquisite pearls incomparable to anything created by mankind. Immediately, tears began to stream from the eyes of Mother Evangelist Dorothy Price as her soul connected with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Angels stood by Heaven's Gate shouting, "Glory Hallelujah Mother Price is coming home!"
WHEREAS, the scripture states, "She is clothed with strength and dignity and she can laugh at the days to come;!' (Proverbs 31:25) we can all attest to the fact, Mother Evangelist Dorothy Price was a true prayer warrior, an excellent mother, the perfect friend, and always a woman of her word. No matter the obstacles presented before her, she triumphed over each of them with a spirit of excellence, integrity and ready to give Lord the utmost praise from the core of her heart; and
WHEREAS, at this moment as we reflect on the awesomeness of the great Woman of Faith, also affectionately known in the earth as Mother Price, I will say, "Her commitment to serving, witnessing and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere her feet were planted is one of the purest examples of a person that is faithful to the cause regardless of societal ways. May we as men, women and children throughout this sanctuary continue to fulfill the promises God has bestowed unto us without complaint. For the Lord is looking to say to each of us, as I know within my heart that he said to Mother Evangelist Dorothy Price, "My good and faithful servant I am well pleased with thee; and
WHEREAS, on this day, let us take a stand in oneness as we express unto God our gratefulness for allowing us the opportunity to be in her presence. In the days to come during our intimate time of prayer and fasting let us ask God to teach each of us how to love unconditionally, serve with a heart of gladness and forsake not the assembly of us being together in worship today and days to come. For it is our purpose to draw all to Jesus Christ in the way God has assigned and ordained each of us as it was shown through the lifestyle of Mother Evangelist Dorothy Price; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the members of City Council will gather together on the 23rd Day of June, 2021 A.D., to express their condolences and extend their sincere prayers to Lynda V. Genous JoTdan, who served with me as an exceptional community advocate and to the entire family, friends and associates and everyone that loved her; and
