CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF AN INCREDIBLE WOMAN

MS. DARLENE MOORE

 

 

WHEREAS, on a day we least expected, Ms. Darlene Moore was called home by the GREAT I AM. Ms. Moore a woman of great faith and undeniable integrity answered the call of Jesus Christ, "Come home my daughter to a place where you will find rest for your soul Ms. Darlene Moore stretched forth her hand and connected with God. The Angels stood by Heaven's Gate and shouted, "Ms. Moore is coming home!"

 

WHEREAS, some people knew Ms. Darlene Moore for her loving-spirit, bright smile, delectable home cooked meals and words of wisdom. So many others recognized Ms. Moore as a woman that always made time for her children and family; and

 

WHEREAS, the bible says, "A wise woman builds a house but a fool plucks down with words." Without a shadow of a doubt in our minds, we know Ms. Darlene Moore always shared words of encouragement in her home. Her life exemplified a person that bared good fruit. Her relationship with the Lord helped her to know the distinct difference between a woman who walks in the flesh compared to one that surrenders her body to the Spirit of God; and

 

WHEREAS, there are so many wonderful things that we can share about Ms. Darlene Moore, let us never forget, she was an upstanding 21st Ward constituent and neighbor that me and my staff would always cherish close to our hearts. It is my prayer the strength ofthe Lord shall be the portion of Ms. Moore's family, closest friends and everyone that loved and cherished their time with this great woman of faith; and

 

WHEREAS, today,, let us not say good-bye but instead say in unison, Father we are grateful for your presence being in the midst of this day. Lord we want nothing less than to give you Glory for every aspect of her life. We hope to please you above all others. Though Lord, we prayed often and desired to spend more physical time in the earth with your vessel Ms. Darlene Moore we know that one day we shall all meet her again; and

 

BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the members of City Council will gather together on the 27th Day of January, A.D. to express their sincere condolences to the family of Ms. Darlene Moore.

 

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution was prepared by Alderman Howard B. Brookms, Jr., and a more suitable copy will be presented to the family of Ms. Ms. Darlene Moore.
