Your Committee on Transportation and Public Way begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body pass To maintain and use one  (1)  sign over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 1842 North Milwaukee Avenue.    This ordinance was referred to the Committee on July 28, 2011.
 
This recommendation was concurred unanimously by a viva voce vote of the members of the Committee with no dissenting vote.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO: Section 1:
 
The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for ENTERPRISE LEASING COMPANY OF CHICAGO, LLC is here by Amended by deleting the words:
 
"maintain and use two (2) sign(s)
 
Said sign structure(s) measures one at three point six six (3.66) feet in length, two (2) feet in height and twelve point zero eight (12.08) feet above grade level.
the sum of one hundred seventy-five ($175.00) per annum"
and inserting in their place the words:
"maintain and use one (1) sign(s)
the sum of one hundred ($ 100) per annum"
 
 
 
 
Section 2:
 
This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a sign(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Business Assistance Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
