SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 through 7 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-022 (48.11), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of October 16, 2019 at page 7287, with the following underscored text:

4-60-022 (48.11)      On Sheridan Road, from Hollywood Avenue to Catalpa Avenue.

SECTION 3. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-022 (48.13), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of April 24, 2014 at page 77640, with the following underscored text:

4-60-022 (48.13)      On Sheridan Road, from Berwyn Avenue to Carmen Avenue.

SECTION 4.   Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-022 (48.15), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of November 5. 2014 at page 95816, with the following underscored text:

4-60-022 (48.15) On the east side of Broadway, from Granville Avenue to Glenlake Avenue; and on both sides of Broadway, from Norwood Avenue to Elmdale Avenue,

SECTION 5. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-022 (48.16), which was previously deleted as shown n the Journal of Proceedings of September 24, 2015 at page 6970, with the following underscored text:

4-60-022 (48.16)      On Broadway, from Elrndale Avenue to Ardmore Avenue.

SECTION 6. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (48.13), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of April 2, 2014 at page 77640, with the following underscored text:

4-60-023 (48.13)      On Sheridan Road, from Berwvn Avenue to Carmen Avenue.

SECTION 7. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (48.15), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of November 5,2014 at page 95816, with the following underscored text:

 

4-60-023 (48.15)      On the east side of Broadway, from Granville Avenue to Glenlake Avenue: and on both sides of Broadway, from Norwood Avenue to Eimdale Avenue.

SECTION 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
