City Council October 7th, 2020
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Parents John Slagle and Crystal Oyler welcomed their new baby son, Dashiel Fox Slagle, into the world on Sunday, August 30th, 2020. On that date, Dashiel made his first appearance weighing eight pounds, twelve ounces (one-upping his older brother by an ounce) and stretching; the tape to twenty and a half inches; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this blessed event by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson,; Aldennan of the 11 th Ward and the Honorable Debra Silverstein, Alderman of the 50th Ward; and
WHEREAS, The joy of arrival has spread to the family's many dear friends and loving relatives, especially by his his big brother, Marcel Solon Slagle (he's.super excited); and
WHEREAS, Theannouncement of this special birth represents the future of Chicago and the endless possibilities for our great City; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago, .gathered here this seventh day of October 2020, do hereby extend our heartiest congratulations to John and Crystal. We proudly welcome their son Dashiel Fox Slagle, into the world where we are confident he will grow, prosper and, following in his family's footsteps, make many significant contributions to the world; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Dashiel Fox Slagle.
