SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The Comptroller ofthe City of Chicago is directed to remove parking meters at:
West Taylor Street, south side of the street, from South Clinton Street heading east approximately 105 feet (495-517 W. Taylor Street)

SECTION 2. The Comptroller ofthe City of Chicago is directed to install parking meters at:
2100 block of South Canalport, both sides of the street,
South Archer Avenue, both sides of the street, from West Cermak Road to South Stewart Avenue

SECTION 3. Section 9-64-206 ofthe Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the language underscored and by deleting the language struck through as follows:

9-64-205 Parking meters—hours of operation

Notwithstanding any prior ordinance establishing different hours of operation, the hours of operation for a parking meter shall be as follows:

(Omitted text is unaffected by this ordinance)

(e) Notwithstanding the days and hours of operation in subsections (a), (b), (c), and (d) of this section, parking meters shall operate:

(1) From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays on:
South Archer Avenue, both sides of the street, from West Cermak Road to South Stewart Avenue
2000 through 2500 South Wentworth Avenue, both sides of the street
100 to 200 West 24th Street, both sides of the street
200 block of West Cermak Road, both sides of the street

200 block of West 22nd Place, both sides ofthe street
200 block of West 23rd Street, both sides ofthe street
200 block of West Alexander Street, both sides of the street
200 block of West 23rd Place, both sides ofthe street
200 block of West 24th Street, south side ofthe street
1900 South through 2600 South Archer Avenue, both sides of the street
2000 block of South Wentworth (Archer Avenue Service Drive)
2100 block of South Princeton Avenue, both sides of the street
2100 block of South China Place, both sides ofthe street
2000 block of South Wells Street, south side ofthe street
2100 block of South Tan Court, south side of the street

(f) The time limits set forth above shall not replace any other more restrictive parking or standing restrictions and do not relieve a person from the duty to observe other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the standing or parking of vehicles in specified places or at specified times.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
