Whereas, Michael J. Frederick departed this present life on March 25, 2015; and

Whereas, The City Council has been notified of his passing by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward; and

Whereas, Michael J. Frederick was the beloved husband of Joanne; loving father of Tim (Janet), Susan (Roger) Rhodes, Nancy, Mary Kay (Ed) Fahey, Peter, Barbara (Patrick) Ferriter, Joan, Paul (Mary), and Mike Frederick, proud grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and cousin to many, and

Whereas, Michael Frederick served in the United States Army, and fought in World War II, and worked as a teacher at Bowen High School, a Chicago Public School, and

Be it resolved, that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this day of December 10, 2014, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Michael Frederick and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be it further resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael J. Frederick.
