SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

On Chicago Avenue, from Morgan Street to Racine Avenue.

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods iicense shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

To the President and Members of the City Council:
Your Committee on License and Consumer Protection, having under consideration a substitute ordinance introduced by Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr. (which was referred on June 28, 2017), to amend the Municipal Code of Chicago lifting subsection subsections 4-60-022 (27.63) and 4-60-023 (27.63) to allow additional alcoholic liquor licenses and package goods licenses on portion of Chicago Avenue, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body pass the substitute ordinance which is transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by a viva voce vote of the members of the committee on July 19, 2017.
