Dear Alderman Reilly:
On behalf of Lake Shore Plaza, I am writing to strongly encourage your support for the application request submitted to your office that will facilitate in the assisted care services for the residents of Lake Shore Plaza.
Lake Shore Plaza is owned by the Illinois Housing Development Authority which is located at 445 East Ohio Street, a forty story high-rise residential building with 567 units. Lake Shore Plaza has a significant number of residents who require medical assistance and services of licensed and/or certified professionals. There is a great need to have a drop off/pick up zone in front of the building.
I would like to thank you in advance for your efforts in assisting Lake Shore Plaza with the zoning request.

o Standing zones may be used by ANY vehicles—drivers of vehicles are not required to patronize or visit buildings of the businesses/individuals who requested the standing zone
o Vehicles parking in standing zones are limited to 15 minutes and must have their hazard lights flashing while the driver is away from the vehicle
o Vehicles parking in standing zones for more than 15 minutes are subject to citation and towing
o Posting signage, whether on die standing zone sign or in the public way, to claim ownership of a standing zone is not permitted per Chicago Municipal Code
