SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Acct. No. 43697 - 39 Permit No. 1124733

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO: Section 1:

The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO on 12/14/2016, and printed upon page 40228 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words

"Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, three (3) Pipe(s) under the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 5646-570146 S. Drexel Ave

Said Pipe(s) at 5646 S. 5701 S. ALLEY EAST OF S. DREXEL AVE- S. DREXEL AVE 912-E. 919 E. 57TH ST measure(s):

One (1) at two hundred ten (210) feet in length, and one point five (1.5) foot in width for a total of three hundred fifteen (315) square feet. Existing pipe is approximately three (3) feet in depth.

One (1) at two hundred ten (210) feet in length, and point eight three (.83) feet in width for a total of one hundred seventy-four point three (174.3) square feet. Existing pipe is approximately three (3) feet below grade level.

One (1) at two hundred ten (210) feet in length, and point two five (.25) feet in width for a total of fifty-two point five (52.5) square feet. Existing pipe is approximately three (3) feet below grade level.'"

and inserting in their place the words

"Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use three (3) Pipes beneath the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 5647-5701 S. Drexel Avenue and 912-919 East 57^th Street Said pipes shall be described as follows:

One (1) eighteen (18) inch steam pipe.

One (1) ten (10) inch pumped condensate pipe.

One (1) three (3) inch compressed air pipe.

All three (3) pipes shall be located under the public way in a two hundred ten (210) feet in length and six (6) feet in width trench. Said trench shall run under and along 5647-5701 South, alley East of Drexel and 912-919 East 57^lh Street. Trench shall be a maximum often (10) feet be low grade level"

Section 2:

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.
