MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that members of this Chamber learned of the death of Dolores H. Hoeffleur, on January 15, 2014, at the age of eighty-four; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of her passing by The Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born on April 7, 1929, Dolores was the loving wife of Arthur; beloved mother of Janet (Bob) Stoklosa, Liza Hoeffleur and the late Carolyn (Steve) Wharton; dear sister of Ronald (Noreen) Prohaska and the late Frank Prohaska, Jr.; cherished sister-in-law of Mildred Prohaska; special aunt and great aunt of many; treasured friend to all who knew her. Dolores leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Dolores was an active and vital member of her community who touched the lives of all who knew her through her kindness, generosity, heart and spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this fifth day of February 2014, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Dolores H. Hoeffleur and express to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
