RUSHTON-LOWERY 2018 FAMILY REUNION RESOLUTION

Whereas, The Family Unit is the root and foundation of our Society; and

Whereas, Exemplifying the strength and spirituality of the Family Life, the Rushton-Lowery family members are traveling from near and far to their 2018 Family Reunion, July 6-8 to be held in our great City of Chicago; and

Whereas, The Rushton-Lowery ancestors left them with a legacy of love with roots that run deep, charging them to stay connected and committed to each other; and

Whereas, their family history can be traced back to 1852 in Crenshaw, Alabama and has been recorded and passed down from generation to generation, always teaching the African Proverb, it takes a Village and each one, teach one; and

Whereas, Chicago is a great part of their history as many of them migrated to our great City to make their mark and contribution to each other, our City, Country and mankind.

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council, assembled this 27^th day of June 2018, do hereby extend to the members of the Rushton-Lowery Family our very best wishes for a happy and successful 2018 Family Reunion; and
