City Council January 27th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Frank Joseph Mitchell has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 67 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Frank Joseph Mitchell: beloved husband of Kathy nee Sheppard; loving father of Frankie (Sofia); adored grandfather of Frankie and Joey; devoted son of the late Harold and late Rosemary Mitchell: dear brother of Michael (Andrea) Miceli and Maryfran Mitchell; cherished son-in-law of the late Midge and Mary Sheppard; caring brother-in-law of Sharon (Mike) Damico, Mary (Sam) Amato, John (Maria) Sheppard, Ricky (Susie) Sheppard and the late Ron (Linda) Sheppard; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Frank to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty seventh of January 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Frank Joseph Mitchell and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frank Joseph Mitchell.
