MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR ANTHONY KUZNIAREK

WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Anthony Kuzniarek the age of eighty-seven; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Anthony was the beloved husband of Marie F.; devoted father of Russell (Laura) Martin, Florence (Ralph) Lombardo, Barbara Koetz and Marie A. Kuzniarek; Cherished grandfather of ten precious grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Thomas touched the lives of all who knew him through his unconditional love, life lessons, and vivacious spirit. He will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this twenty-second day of February, 2017 do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Anthony Kuzniarek; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution are presented to the family of Anthony Kuzniarek as a sign of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
