RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, George F. Fitzpatrick has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the. age of 71 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Cduncirhas been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, George F. Fitzpatrick, dear former husband of Patricia Elwert; devoted father of Patrick Fitzpatrick, Michael Fitzpatrick, and preceded in death by Terry Ann Fitzpatrick, Mary Ann Fitzpatrick, and Matthew (Traci Jett) Fitzpatrick; loving grandfather of Raikn Jett, Halei Jett, Robert Jett, and great grandfather of four; preceded in death by his parents, Patrickand Alice Kane Fitzpatrick; dear brother of Patricia Sullivan, Eileen Lakawiteh, Bonnie Fitzpatrick, and preceded by Annmafie Hogan, Jack Fitzpatrick, Mary Kay Fox, Alice Kelly, and Margaret Morales; fond uncle of many; and
WHEREAS, George was a lifetime resident of the South Side of Chicago-Canaryville neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared George to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty first of July 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of George F. Fitzpatrick and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
