RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Maria Impallaria has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Maria Impallaria; Beloved wife of Jim; loving mother of Tony C.P.D. (Jen) Regalado and Jimmy C.P.D. Impallaria; cherished grandmother of Ava; devoted daughter of Dionisio and Victoria Garcia; adored sister of Cesar (Magda) Garcia, Dennis Garcia, Armando (Mable Torres) Garcia, Thelma (Tasos) Karamitsos, Danny (Elsa) Garcia, Eluid and Elias Garcia; dear sister-in-law of Carolyn (Butch) Kowalski, Cindy Potthoff, Mike (Mary) Impallaria, the late Tony and late Paul Impallaria; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Maria Impallaria was the co-owner of Impallaria Bakery in Bridgeport; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Maria Impallaria to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of January 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Maria Impallaria and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Maria Impallaria.
