ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, On October 5, 2016, the City Council passed an ordinance (the "Ordinance," designated by City Clerk Tracking Number 02016-6603) for the sale of 4025 S. Indiana Avenue in accordance with the Adjacent Neighbors Land Acquisition Program; and

WHEREAS, Section 2 of the Ordinance erroneously refers to the purchase price as "One Thousand and no/100 Dollars," instead of "Two Thousand and no/100 Dollars"; and

WHEREAS, It is necessary and appropriate to correct this error; now, therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Page 33659 of the Journal of the Proceedings of October 5, 2016 is hereby corrected by replacing the erroneous reference to "One Thousand and no/100 Dollars" at line 3 of Section 2 with "Two Thousand and no/100 Dollars."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication and shall be deemed to apply retroactively to the effective date of the Ordinance.
