ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas. Moreover, the prior ordinance that added the areas described in Section 3 of this ordinance mistakenly referred to "Place," rather than "Street," as the result of a scrivener's error, and it is necessary and appropriate to correct this error.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-023 (9.191) through (9.318), as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

On 100th Street, from Yale Avenue to LaSalle Street.
On 100th Street, from LaSalle Street to Lafayette Avenue.
On 100th Street, from Lafayette Avenue to Michigan Avenue: and on 100th Place, from State Street to Michigan Avenue.
On 100th Street, from Michigan Avenue to Prairie Avenue.
On 100th Street, from Prairie Avenue to Calumet Avenue.
On 100th Street, from Calumet Avenue to Vernon Avenue.
On 100th Street, from Vernon Avenue to Rhodes Avenue.
On 100th Street, from Rhodes Avenue to Cottage Grove Avenue: and on 100th Place, from Saint Lawrence Avenue to Dauphin Avenue.
On 99th Street, from Parnell Avenue to Eggleston Avenue: and on 99th Place, from Princeton Avenue to the terminus of 99th Place, west of Princeton Avenue.
On 99th Street, from Princeton Avenue to Wentworth Avenue.
On 99th Street, from Wentworth Avenue to Perry Avenue.
