SALUTE TO CHURCHVIEW SUPPORTIVE LIVING

WHEREAS, Churchview Supportive Living is Chicago Lawn's and Marquette Park's premiere affordable assisted living community; and

WHEREAS, The Greater Southwest Development Corporation created and owns the Churchview which is designed for adults 65 years of age and older of all incomes who need some help in maintaining their independence thus providing an excellent alternative to a nursing home or for those struggling alone at home , especially those who cannot afford a private caretaker; and

WHEREAS, Since it opened in the summer of 2004, Churchview Supportive Living has been managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the leading provider of affordable assisted living in Illinois; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Toni L. Foulkes, Alderman of the 15^th Ward, has apprised this august body of this estimable establishment's seven years of superior care for the senior constituents of her ward and the City of Chicago; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City of Chicago City Council, gathered together this 13^th Day of April, 2011 AD, do hereby salute Churchview Supportive Living for it valuable and beneficial support service and extend our very best wishes for its continuing success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Churchview Supportive Living.
