RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, James Joseph Paske Jr. has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 59 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Jim was born August 27th, 1962. He was raised in Chicago, IL in the neighborhood of canaryville where he went to St. Gabriel's School. He joined the United States Navy as a Seal after high school. He flew to Seattle and proudly served his country 3 and a half years; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared James Joseph Paske Jr. to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of James and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James.
