WHERferi^ '^pj||nt A. Covelli has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Vincent A. Covelli Devoted son of the late Serafino and Concetta (Nardi) Covelli; beloved brother of the late Sarah (Robert "Balbo") Phillips, Roseann (the late Anthony) Formusa, and Salvatore (the late Sandra DeGrazia) Covelli; fond uncle of Darlene (Jim) Smith, Diane (Anthony) Valentino, Louis (Nancy) Phillips, the late Michael Phillips, Marianne (Vince) Scarlata, Patty Anne, Natalie, Luanne (the late Brian) Cosentino, Anthony (Renee) Formusa, and Robert (Dawn) DeGrazia. Vince is fondly remembered by his great and great-great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and friends; and
WHEREAS, Vince A. Covelli was a Special friend to the Perisin family and Member of the Old Neighborhood Italian American Club; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Vincent A. Covelli to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this thirty-first day of October 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Vincent A. Covelli and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Vincent A. Covelli.
