CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO THE 2011 BNA TRAINING PROGRAM GRADUATES
WHEREAS, On Friday, February 18, 2011 the Phalanx Family Services hosted a gala reception for the Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program graduates of February 2011 at the Beverly Woods Restaurant and Banquet Hall, 11532 South Western Avenue; and
WHEREAS, Phalanx defined is: "a compact or close-knit group". Phalanx Family Service's mission is to assist economically disadvantaged children and families in the pursuit of self-sufficiency. Phalanx Family Services builds emotionally healthy, self-sufficient families in a community in which they can thrive. Basic Nursing Assistants Training is a program sponsored by Phalanx Family Services; and
WHEREAS, The Basic Nursing Assistants Training Program prepares students for an entry-level career in healthcare. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is taken as a separate unit where the student receives certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and First Aid; and
WHEREAS, The February 2011 Graduating Class consisted of eighteen students, Antoinette Abney, Maria Benavente, Joane Brooks, Tasha Coates, Toni Colon, Phynise Conner, Sederica Frazier, Shawnta Grace, Rachelle Harris, Ashley Howell, Constance Johnson, Lakeisha Massey, Shakira Partee, Adrienne Phillips Tamika Robinson, Lurita Shalor, Tilia Tillman and Sharita Walker; and
