RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Andja Novak has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Beloved wife of Josip; loving mama of Dubravka (Mario) Ivancic, and Davorka (Jurica) Toromanovic; beloved daughter of the late Ivo and Matija Lijovic; fond baba of Mihael, Luka, Matea, Dario and Josipa; dear sister of the late Mila (the late Ante) Anic, the late Slavka Lijovic, the late Vinka (the late Bozo) Dolic, and Janja (Stipe) Perisa, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews in Chicago, Croatia, Austria, and Bosnia." Andja was a kind and thoughtful woman who was loved by all and will be forever missed"; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Andja Novak to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Andja and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Andja.
