RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, Rosemary A. Akers has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age Of 90 tp her eternal reward; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Rosemary A. Akers, age 90, (nee Korenkiewicz), was the beloved wife of the late Raymond, Sr.; loving mother of Raymond Jr. (Amy), Jane (late Tullio) Infelise, and Mary Akers (long time friend of Elmer Mestrovic); dear grandmother of Tullio Jr. (Dawn), Genevieve (Lionell), Raymond Anthony, Matthew, and Victoria; sister ofthe late Sophie (late Felix) Rucki, late Florence (late Chester) Peplowski, late Eleanor (late Alexander) Kama, late Hattie (late Edward) Olichwier, late Irene (late William) Wheeler, and late Adeline (late William) Cuculich;;aunt of many nieces and nephews; and

 

WHEREAS, Rosemary was a member of St. Mary of Perpetual Help Mother's Guild and room mom, and a former member ofthe Daughters of Isabella Copernicus Circle; and

 

WHEREAS, She loved the Holidays and giving gifts to all of her family. Rosemary was a fantastic cook and baker and all from scratch; ari^

 

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the'fullest endeared Rosemary to her family
members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will
neverforget; no^ therefore ^

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this ninth of September 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Rosemary A. Akers and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
