MEMORIAL RESOLUTION FOR MICHAEL J. MALINOWSKI
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the death of Michael J. "Mike" Malinowski on July 29, 2017 at the age of 40; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Born on December 22, 1976, Michael was the beloved son of Juanita, nee Flocca and Robert F. Malinowski C.P.D. Retired; dearest brother of Rob A., Julie A., Steven H. (Traci Gerstner) and Kenneth J. (Nicole) Malinowski; loving uncle of Milani, Mariah, Morgan, Caden, Marino and Olivia; fond nephew and cousin; and treasured friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Michael leaves a legacy of faith, dignity and love and
WHEREAS, Michael was a Chicago area entertainer known as "Mic One" for many years. He was a self taught musician, song writer and performer. Michael touched the lives of all who knew him through his kindness, generosity and vivacious spirit. He will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this 6th day of September, 2017, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Michael J. Malinowski; and
