ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the area described in Section 2 ofthis ordinance is adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the area.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as a new subsection 4-60-023 (42.248-42.479), as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

On the north side of Waterside Drive from Field Boulevard to Harbor Drive: and on the east side of Harbor Drive from Waterside Drive to Randolph Street.
On the south side of Waterside Drive from Field Boulevard to Harbor Drive: and on the west side of Harbor Drive from Waterside Drive to Randolph Street.
On the north side of Randolph Street from Harbor Drive to Field Boulevard: and on the east side of Field Boulevard from Randolph Street to Benton Place.
On the south side of Randolph Street from Harbor Drive to Columbus Drive; and on the south side of Randolph Street from Columbus Drive to Michigan Avenue.
On the south side of Benton Place from Westshore Drive to Park Drive; and on the east side of Westshore Drive from Benton Place to South Water Street.
On the north side of Benton Place from Westshore Drive to Park Drive; and on the west side of Westshore Drive from Benton Place to South Water Street.
On the south side of South Water Street from Westshore Drive to Park Drive; and on the east side of Park Drive from South Water Street to Benton Place.
