SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE - HONORARY STREET SIGNAGE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO
SECTION 1. Pursuant to an ordinance heretofore passed by the City Council which allows erection of honorary street-name signs, the Commissioner of Transportation shall take the necessary action for standardization of the northwest corner of West Armitage Avenue and North Orleans Street (facing north/south and pointing west) as "Geja's Cafe Way".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Transportation and Public Way begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body pass An ordinance authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Transportation to take the actions necessary to honorarily designate the northeast corner of West Armitage Avenue and North Orleans Street (facing North/South and pointing West) as, "Geja's Cafe Way". This ordinance was referred to the Committee on May 20, 2015.
This recommendation was concurred unanimously by a viva voce vote of the members of the Committee with no dissenting vote.
