MEMORIAL RESULTION FOR ALESEA BROWN

 

 

 

WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of this Chamber learned of the departure of Alcsea Brown on September 5, 2016; and

WHEREAS, This august body has been informed of Alesea Brown's passing by the Honorable Anthony Beale, Alderman of the 9,h Ward; and

WHEREAS, Alesea Brown was born to the union of the late Nellie and Albany Brown in Chicago, Illinois on June 10, 1962; and

 

WHEREAS, Alesea was passionate about learning, she obtained a real estate license, an Associate's Degree in Healthcare Management from Colorado Technical University and a food and sanitation license; and

 

WHEREAS, Known for her kind heart and great spirit, Alesea was an avid cook, her family and friends remember the meals she lovingly prepared; and

 

WHEREAS, Alesea accepted God at an early age and was a dedicated member of Trinity United Church of Christ; and

 

WHEREAS, Alesea leaves to cherish her memory her fiance, Elijah Sconiers; five doting children, one son-in-law, two grandchildren, and a host of loving friends and family; and

 

WHEREAS, Alesea touched the lives of all who knew her through her love and caring spirit. She will be deeply missed, but the memory of her character will live on in those who knew and loved her; now, therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this 5th day of October, 2016, do hereby extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Alesea Brown.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution are presented to the family of Alesea Brown as a sign of our honor, gratitude, and respect.
