WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called William Naughton to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, William Naughton, Beloved husband of Lucille Naughton (nee Cory). Loving father of Kevin J. (Margaret) Naughton. Cherished grandfather of Laura, James, and Daniel Naughton. Dear brother of the late Colonel John J. (the late Margaret) Naughton. Fond uncle of Marialice (Terry) Brown, John (Susan) Naughton, and Patricia Naughton. Proud member of the American Legion, The Knights of Columbus, Holy Name, and Mother Cabrini Society. Devoted parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Past president of many organizations. William Naughton leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-ninth day of July, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of William Naughton and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
