City Council April 10, 2019

WHEREAS, Jean Moy Young has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11 Ward; and

WHEREAS, Jean Moy Young; beloved wife of the late Fong D. Young; loving mother of Yvonne (late Anthony) Yuen, Richard (Rita) Young and Wallace (Winnie) Young; cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of five; dear sister and aunt of many; and

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Jean Moy Young to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this tenth of April 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Jean Moy Young and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jean Moy Young.
